In the third quarter of 2024, the tools app category in Cyprus exhibited diverse performance trends across different applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy, developed by Nord Security, showed a varied weekly revenue pattern, peaking at about $548 in mid-August and maintaining a consistent figure around $537 by late September. Downloads for this app saw a rise in July, reaching 586, before stabilizing between 408 and 480 towards the end of the quarter.

For ExpressVPN: VPN Fast & Secure, revenue fluctuated, with a notable rise to $444 in mid-August, settling at approximately $333 by the end of September. Downloads began at 335 in early July and experienced a gradual decline, ending the quarter at 241.

AVG AntiVirus & Security from AVG Mobile presented a dynamic revenue stream, with a notable peak at $167 in late July and a drop to $85 by the end of September. Downloads showed slight variability, with numbers initially increasing to 154 in early August, followed by a decrease, stabilizing around 120 in late September.

Surfshark: Secure VPN service experienced a consistent climb in revenue, peaking at $275 at the end of September. Download trends for this app also saw an upward trajectory, starting at 98 and reaching 143 by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, ESET Mobile Security Antivirus demonstrated a revenue increase, peaking at $140 in early September and stabilizing at $127 by the end of the quarter. Downloads were relatively low but showed a slight uptick from 18 at the start of the quarter to 41 by the end.
